Karl Baron von Hessen-Kassel 
Karl Baron was born in 1845. Karl Baron's father was Eduard Baron von Hessen-Kassel and his mother was Thekla von Baumbach. His paternal grandparents were Wilhelm Karl Baron von Hessen-Kassel and Karoline von Schack. He had four sisters named Natalie Baroness, Bertha Baroness, Elisabeth Baroness and Thekla Baroness. He was the third oldest of the five children. He had a half-brother and five half-sisters, named Ludwig Baron, Karoline Baroness, Marie Baroness, Hedwig Baroness, Agnes Baroness and Luise Baroness. He died at the age of 11 in 1856.-
