Philipp von Hessen-Homburg 
Philipp was born in 1676. Philipp's father was Friedrich ll von Hessen-Homburg and his mother was Luise Elisabeth von Courland. His paternal grandparents were Friedrich l von Hessen-Homburg and Margarete Elisabeth von Leiningen-Westerburg. He had five brothers named Friedrich lll, Karl Christian, Ferdinand, Karl Ferdinand and Kasimir Wilhelm. He was the third oldest of the six children. He died at the age of 27 in 1703.
