Robert's father was Henry I Beauclerk Koenig von England and his mother was Matilda (Edith) "Good Queen Maud" von Schottland. His paternal grandparents were William I "The Conqueror" Koenig von England and Mathilda von Flandern; his maternal grandparents were Malcolm III "Canmore" Koenig von Schottland and St Margaret. He had five brothers and six sisters, named Son Prinz, William "Atheling" Prinz, Richard Prinz, Reginald Lord, Richard, Elizabeth Prinzessin, Euphamia, Matilda "The, Matilda (Maud]), Sibylla and Sybil. He had six half-brothers and four half-sisters, named Robert von Gloucester De Mellent, William, Henry, Robert, Reynold, Robert, Matilda, Isabel, Maud and Sibylla. He died in 1147.-
