Margaret Countess was born in 1221 in St Maime B., Forcalquier, Alpes-de-Haute-P, France.1 Margaret Countess' father was Raimund V Berenger Count von Provence and her mother was Beatrice von Savoie. Her paternal grandparents were Alfonso II Alfonsez von Provence and Gersinde II von Sabran; her maternal grandparents were Thomas von Savoy De Maurienne and Beatrix (Marguerite) von Genuar-Faucign. She had six sisters named Eleanor von Provence, Marguerite Berenger, Eleanor, Sancha Countess, Beatrix Countess and Beatrice. She died at the age of 74 on December 21st, 1295 in Paris, Seine, France.1 -
