Her paternal grandparents were Rudolf Count Finck von Finckenstein and Elise von Roeder; her maternal grandparents were Bernhard von der Schulenburg and Metta Freiherrin von Eckhardstein. She had two sisters named Luise Henriette Countess Finck and Erdmunthe Countess Finck. She was the youngest of the three children.-
