August Count Finck was born on June 8th, 1861 in Matschdorf. August Count Finck's father was Reinhold Count Finck von Finckenstein and his mother was Marie von Risselmann. His paternal grandparents were Wilhelm Count Finck von Finckenstein and Maria Josefa Elisabeth Freiherrin von Matt; his maternal grandparents were August von Risselmann and Marie Countess Finck von Finckenstein. He had a brother named Reinhold Count Finck. He was the younger of the two children. He died at the age of 36 on April 26th, 1898 in Bagow.-
