Robert was born about 1200 in Westmorland, England.1 Robert's father was John Vipont Lord von Appleby & Essendine and his mother was Sibyl De Ferrers. His paternal grandparents were Robert Vipont and Idonea Busli; his maternal grandparents were William lV De Ferrers and Agnes von Chester. He was an only child. He died on June 7th, 1264 in Lewes or Evesham.1 -
