Christopher was born about 1471 in Of, THRELKELD, Cumberland, England.1   Christopher's father was Lancelot Threlkeld and his mother was Margaret Bromflete. He had three brothers and three sisters, named Lancelot, Lancelot, James, Ann, Margaret and Elizabeth.  He was the youngest of the seven children.1
