Caroline Stephansen 
Caroline was born in 1828 in Bovense.1 Caroline's father was Jens Stephansen and her mother was Anna Margrethe Crone. Her maternal grandparents were Christopher Crone and Johanne Sorendatter. She had five brothers and two sisters, named Christopher Bernhard, Augusta, Hans Peter, Anton Valdemar, Carl Julius, Mathilde and Henriette Margrethe. She was the oldest of the eight children.1 -
