Mary "Polly" was born about 1765 in Amelia County, Virginia, USA.1 Mary "Polly"'s father was Jesse Seay and her mother was Betsey Belton Lyon. Her paternal grandfather was James M. Seay. She had two brothers and three sisters, named Alexander Alescent, James "Jamie", Maiden, Keziah and Oney. She was the second youngest of the six children. She died after 1848 in Inman, Spartanburg Co., South Carolina, USA.1 -
