Stephan Louis was born on January 23rd, 1880 in Reil (das Tausendjährige Weinort), Germany.1 Stephan Louis' father was Christoph-Clemens Roehl and his mother was Elizabeth Arndt. His paternal grandparents were Mathias Roehl and Anna Katharina Reiss. He had a brother named Henry Anthony. He died at the age of 83 on October 28th, 1963.1 General Notes
He immigrated to America with his parents and paternal
grandmother in 1882 and settled in Detroit.
