Theodora was born about 1053 in Of, Constantinople, Constantinople, Turkey.1 Theodora's father was Ioannis Komnenos and her mother was Anna Dalassene. Her paternal grandfather was Manolis (Michael) "Erotikos" Komnenos; her maternal grandparents were Alexios Charon Dalassenes and Miss Delassene. She had five brothers and two sisters, named Manolis, Isaac Prince von Byzantinschen, Alexios I Emperorvom Byzantynischen, Adrianos Prinz, Nikephoros, Maria and Eudoxia. She was the third youngest of the eight children.1 -
