Carl August Huttenhoff 
Carl August was born on January 10th, 1821 in Holthausen, Prussia.1 Carl August's father was Johann Peter Huttenhoff and his mother was Anna Catherina Kotting. His paternal grandparents were Johannes Peter Huttenhoff and Anna Catharina Dieckhoff; his maternal grandparents were Peter Caspar Kotting and Maria Catharina Flasdieck. He had four brothers and two sisters, named Wilhelm, Johann Heinrich, August Theodore, Friedrich, Carolina and Heinretta.1 -
