James Roland was born on September 28th, 1888 in Wayne Co., KY.1 James Roland's father was John Henderson Hubbard and his mother was Mary Evaline Nelson. His paternal grandparents were Jessey Walker Hubbard and Averilla Higgenbotham. He had four brothers and three sisters, named William Miller, Charles McGoffin, Claud Lee, Floyd Ray, Lillian Emerine, Jessie Irene and Annie Mae. He had four half-brothers and three half-sisters, named Elmo Thompson, Archie Willson, Donald Courtney, John Kendall, Marjorie Amner, Betty Belle and Mary Catherine. He died in Ada, OK.1 -
