Margaret was born on April 27th, 1892 in Llano Co., TX.1   Margaret's father was George Thomas Hopkins and her mother was Elvira Elizabeth Lusk.  Her maternal grandparents were Dee Hamilton Lusk and Elizabeth Overton. She had two brothers and five sisters, named Joe D., Frank L., Emma Ernestine, Baby Daughter, Della, Allie and Ada Francis.  She was the second youngest of the eight children.  She died in Emporia, KS.1
