Zilphia Alice was born on June 13th, 1838 in Wayne Co., KY.1 Zilphia Alice's father was Charles Lewis Higginbotham and her mother was Elizabeth Back. Her maternal grandparents were Jacob Back and Sarah Lloyd. She had two sisters named Sarah P. and Averilla. She was the second oldest of the three children. She had a half-sister named Elizabeth E.. She died at the age of 79 on July 30th, 1917.1 -
