Martha was born about 1641 in Portsmouth, Newport, Rhode Island.1   Martha's father was Thomas Hazard. She had four brothers and two sisters, named Robert, Jonathan, Nathaniel, Thomas, Hannah and Elizabeth.  She died in 1676 in Kingstown, Washington, Rhode Island.1
