Catharina Hay 
Catharina was born on October 7th, 1828 in Emmersweiler, Germany.1 Catharina's father was Nikolaus Hay and her mother was Catharina Lang. Her paternal grandparents were Michael Hay and Anna Maria Gettmann; her maternal grandparents were Balthasar Lang and Christine Jochum. She had four brothers and a sister, named Michael, Valentin Feldon, John, Balthasar and Barbara. She was the youngest of the six children.1 -
