Catherine was born in 1272 in Brimpsfield, Gloucs., England.1 Catherine's father was John I Giffard and her mother was Maud De Clifford. Her paternal grandparents were Elis V Giffard and Alice Maltravers; her maternal grandparents were Walter III De Clifford and Margaret\Margred Ferch Llewellyn. She was an only child. She died after 1322 in Ledbury, England.1 -
