William Fortson

William was born in 1736 in Caroline County, VA.¹   William's father was Thomas Fortson and his mother was Elizabeth Winn.  His maternal grandfather was Michael Guinney. He had a brother named Thomas. He had two half-brothers and a half-sister, named John, Aquilla and Priscilla.  He died at the age of 76 on April 8th, 1812 in Lexington, KY.¹
