Edward Digges

Edward was born in March 1621 in Chilham, County Kent, England.¹ Edward's father was Dudley Digges and his mother was Mary Kempe. His paternal grandparents were Thomas Digges and Anne St. Leger; his maternal grandparents were Thomas Kempe and Dorothy Thompson. He had seven brothers and three sisters, named Thomas, Dudley, Leonard, Herbert, Richard, John, Francis, Ann, Elizabeth and Mary. He died at the age of 55 on March 15th, 1676 in York County, Virginia, USA.¹
