John De Cogan 
John was born about 1201 in Bampton, Devon, England.1 John's father was Richard De Cogan and his mother was Basile De Ridelisford. His paternal grandfather was Tomas De Cogan; his maternal grandparents were Walter De Ridelisford and Amabilis Fitz Henry. He was an only child. He died in 1247.1
