Katherine was born about 1431 in Of, Gripping, Essex, England.1 Katherine's father was Robert Darcy and her mother was Alice Fitzlangley. Her paternal grandparents were Thomas Darcy and Daughter Torel; her maternal grandfather was Henry Fitzlangley. She had two brothers and five sisters, named Robert, John, Eleanor, Anne, Elizabeth, Margaret and Alice. She was the youngest of the eight children. She died in S.P..1 -
