James Hill Collins

James Hill was born in 1833 in Chesterfield Co., South Carolina, USA.¹   James Hill's father was Jessie Collins and his mother was Barbara Henry.  His paternal grandparents were Reubin Collins and Monica. He had two brothers and four sisters, named Daniel, John Calvin, Caroline Elizabeth, Mary McIver, Sallie E. and Ellen Olivia.  He was the fourth oldest of the seven children.  He died at the age of 30 on January 23rd, 1863 in Virginia, USA.¹
