John Babcock 
John was born in 1644 in Portsmouth, Newport, Rhode Island.1 John's father was James Babcock. His paternal grandfather was James Babcock. He had four brothers and two sisters, named James, Job, Nathaniel, Joseph, Mary and Elizabeth. He died at the age of 41 on January 1st, 1685 in Westerly, Washington, Rhode Island.1
