II Duncan 
II was born about 1060 in Scotland. II's father was Malcolm III Caennmor and his mother was Ingibiorg Finnsdottir. His paternal grandparents were I Duncan and Aelflaed of Northumbria; his maternal grandfather was Finn Arnesson and his maternal grandmother is Bergliot Halfdansdottir. He had two brothers named UNKNOWN and UNKNOWN. He was the oldest of the three children. He had seven half-brothers and two half-sisters, named Heth Ethelred of, UNKNOWN, Edmund I of, Alexander I, David I, Paul I, Erlend II, Mary and Matilda Dunkeld of. He died on November 12th, 1094 in Mondynes, Scotland.General Notes

Duncan II (1060?- November 12, 1094) was king of Scotland and a so n of
Malcolm III and Saint Margaret and therefore a grandson of Duncan I.
Fo r a time he lived as a hostage in England and became king of the Scots
after driving out his uncle, Donald Bane, in 1093, an enterprise in which
he was he lped by some English and Normans. He was killed in the following
year in the Battle of Monthechin. He was buried at Dumfermline Abbey,
Fife.
