Newton I. Sargent 
Newton I. was born on October 7th, 1856 in Derry, New Hampshire. Newton I.'s father was George R. Nesmith Sargent and his mother was Margaret Hemphill. His paternal grandparents were David Sargent and Rebecca Shute. He had a brother and two sisters, named Charles J., Harriet J. and Clara Ann. He was the second oldest of the four children. He died at the age of 71 on March 29th, 1928 in Rutland, Essex County, Massachusetts.-
