Mehitable B. was born on April 4th, 1813. Mehitable B.'s father was Philip Sargent and her mother was Clarissa Bosworth. Her paternal grandparents were Ebenezer Sargent and Esther Quimby. She had five brothers and two sisters, named Jonathan B., Eban, David, Eliphalet Mason, Denison, Fanny and Sophia. She is the fourth oldest of the eight children.-
