Amanda Sargent 
Amanda was born on February 25th, 1825 in Orange, Vermont. Amanda's father was Moses Sargent and her mother was Hannah L. Rogers. Her paternal grandparents were Ebenezer Sargent and Esther Quimby. She had seven brothers and a sister, named Daniel R., Lyman, John, Thomas Perley, Merrill Fowler, William Wallace, Aaron Buzzell and Susan. She is the second youngest of the nine children.-
