Edward Davis was born on November 2nd, 1865 in Summitt, Iron, Utah. Edward Davis' father was Laban Morrill and his mother was Lydia Davis. His paternal grandparents were Abner Morrill and Mary Carpenter. He had seven brothers and four sisters, named Calvin, Edgar, Alexander, Henry Chancey, Luther Lewellyn, Luther Llewellyn, Jonathan Davis, Emily Frances, Mary, Lydia Ann and Lydia Ann. He was the sixth oldest of the twelve children. He died at the age of 60 on August 27th, 1926 in Toquerville, Wshngt, Utah.
