Marietta was born on June 10th, 1851 in New Hampsire. Marietta's father was Horace Howe and her mother was Hannah J. Muzzy. Her maternal grandparents were Daniel Muzzy and Lanora Jones. She had two brothers and five sisters, named William, Willie, Martha, Martha, Elnora, Nellie and Emma. She was the second oldest of the eight children. She died at the age of 80 on March 29th, 1932 in Peoria, Illinois. She was buried in Tiskilwa, Illinois.-
