Adaltrud was born in 0764 in Paris, France. Adaltrud's father was Charlemagne and her mother is Gerswinda of Saxony. Her paternal grandparents were III Pepin and Bertha Broadfoot De Laon. She had four half-brothers and three half-sisters, named Charles, Pepin I, I, Hugh Abott Of, Bertha, Aupais and Dhuada. She died at the age of 88 in 0852.-
