Azariah was born on February 20th, 1821 in Bradford, Merrimack County, New Hampshire. Azariah's father was Allen Cressy and his mother was Judith Sargent. His maternal grandparents were James Sargent and Polly Roach. He had two brothers and a sister, named Henry A, Daniel F. and Maria H.. He was the oldest of the four children. He died about December 27th, 1898 in Sutton, New Hampshire. He was buried in New Cemetary, Bradford, Merrimack County, New Hampshire.-
