Theodore Philander Colby 
Theodore Philander was born in 1830 in NY. Theodore Philander's father was Charles Bostich Colby and his mother was Clarra Scaeffer. His paternal grandfather was David Colby and his paternal grandmother is Sarah Farrington. He had four brothers and three sisters, named Charles Dean, Horrace Farrington, Julius, Jacob, Julia, Harriette and Adeline. He was the oldest of the eight children. He died at the age of 85 in 1915 in Rockford, IL.-
