Samuel Colby 
Samuel was born on July 22nd, 1776 in Bow, Merrimack County, New Hampshire. Samuel's father was Thomas Colby and his mother was Susannah Colby. His maternal grandparents were Moses Colby and Mary Sargent. He had two brothers and three sisters, named Abraham, Thomas, Hannah, Mary and Nancy. He was the oldest of the six children. He died at the age of 38 on April 2nd, 1815 in Dunbarton, Merrimack County, New Hampshire.-
