Mary (Polly) was born on May 4th, 1765 in Sandown, New Hampshire. Mary (Polly)'s father was John Colby and her mother was Marie-Josephte LaMare. Her paternal grandparents were Peter Colby and Mary Straw. She had three brothers named John, Peter and Jean Baptiste. She had three half-brothers and a half-sister, named Gershom, Christopher, Reuben and Elizabeth. She died at the age of 57 on May 8th, 1822 in Sanbornton, New Hampshire.-
