Abigail was born on February 18th, 1688 in Farmington, Hartford County, Connecticut. Abigail's father was Joseph Barnes and her mother was Abigail Gibbs. Her paternal grandparents were Thomas Barnes and Mary Andrews; her maternal grandparents were Jacob Gibbs and Elizabeth Andrews. She is an only child.-
