Martha Ann was born on February 9th, 1844 in Macon Co, North Carolina. Martha Ann's father was Leander Williamson and her mother was Sarah Carpenter. Her paternal grandparents were John Wesley Williamson and Sarah Elvira Curtis; her maternal grandparents were William Carpenter and Martha Margaret McConnell. She had five brothers and four sisters, named John B., Charles W., Jacob, Benjamin W., David N., Caroline, Caroline, Matilda and Elizabeth. She died at the age of 75 on September 10th, 1919 in Smiths Bridge, Macon County, NC. She was buried in 1919 in Coweeta Baptist Church Cemetary, Macon Co, NC.General Notes
