Adelaide of was born about 1020 in Susa, Torino, Italy.  Adelaide of's father was Olderico Manfredo II of Turin and her mother was Berthe de Este.  Her paternal grandparents were Manfred I of Susa-Turin and Prangorda di Reggio; her maternal grandparents were Oberto II de Genoa and Railinde of Como. She had a half-sister named Irmgarde.  She died on December 19th, 1091 in France.
