James Gordon 
James was born about 1499 in Lochinver, Sutherland, Scotland. James' father was Robert Acarsane Gordon and his mother was Mariota Acarsane. His paternal grandparents were John Gordon and Elizabeth Lindsay; his maternal grandparents were John Acarsane and Isabella Vaus. He was an only child. He died on September 10th, 1547 in Battle of Pinkie.-
