James Douglas 
James was born about 1487 in Morton, Dumfries, Scotland. James' father was John Douglas and his mother was Janet Crichton. He had a sister named Beatrice. He was the older of the two children. He died in December 1548.
James and Catherine were married in a religious ceremony before December 10th, 1507 in Scotland. They had a daughter named Margaret.
