Princess of was born about 1073 in Llandyfeisant, Carmarthenshire, Wales. Princess of's father was Rhys ap Tewdr-Mawr and her mother was Gwladus verch Rhiwallon. She had two brothers named Gruffudd ap and Hywel ap. She died before 1136.General Notes
Nest was of legendary beauty and is sometimes known as the "Helen of Wales". Her abduction from her husband's (Gerald of Pembroke) castle - probably Cilgerran Castle - by Owain ap Cadwgan started a civil war.
