Avelina (Adelise) was born about 1020 in Braye-de-Bec, France.  Avelina (Adelise)'s father was Waleran De Beaumont and her mother was Oda De Conteville.  Her paternal grandparents were Hugh de Meulan and Alix De Vexin; her maternal grandfather was Jean De Blois. She had a brother and a sister, named Count of and Marie.  She was the youngest of the three children.  She died on April 8th, 1081 in Beaumont, Normandy, France.  She was buried in Abbey du Bec, France.
