DEATH:
"In those days [when Seth d. (ca.1042)] lived Lamech the blind, who was of the sons of Cain. He had a son Atun and they had much cattle" who by his wife Hazina had a shepard son who asked for help in watching the cattle lest he be killed for the cattle....son Lamech took his bow and sling and stood behind the cattle. One day Cain in his wanderings came to visit, and the young shepard (thinking him a robber) told his grandfather to shoot. With an arrow in his side and a stone in his face he fell & died. When they came to him the shepard said, "It is Cain our grandfather" and in his sorrow & bitterness Lemech "took up a stone and smote [his grson], and smashed his head until he died" in the manner in which Cain had killed Abel [BE 2:13:1-13].
