Agnes was born about 1111 in Wien,Wien,Austria.  Agnes' father was Markgraf of Austria, Saint Leopold (The Pious) Babenberg III and her mother is Agnes of Fanconia Germany.  Her paternal grandparents were Markgraf of Austria Leopold (der Schone(The Fair)) Babenberg II and Countess Ida Cham; her maternal grandparents were Holy Roman Emperor Henry IV and Countess Bertha Maurienne. She had six brothers and four sisters, named Otto, Heinrich(Jerosmirgott), Konrad, Albrecht, Ernst, Leopold, Jeutte, Gertrude, Berthe and Elizabeth. She had a half-brother named The One-eyed.  She died after January 25th, 1157 in Krakow,Krakow,Poland?.

‌Agnes and The Exile were married in a religious ceremony about 1125.  They had two sons and a daughter, and also two children of unknown gender, named Boleslaw, Konrad, Richilda, Wojciech and Mieszko.
