Catherine+ was born about 1458 in Monmouthshire, England. Catherine+'s father was Richard+ Wydeville and her mother was Jacquette De+ Luxembourg. Her paternal grandparents were Richard+ Wydeville and Elizabeth Mary Bedlisgate+ Bodulgate; her maternal grandparents were Pierre I De+ Luxembourg and Marguerite Del+ Balzo. She had two brothers and six sisters, named Anthony, John, Elizabeth+, Anne+, Jacquetta+, Agnes, Margaret and Mary+. She was the youngest of the nine children.
