Francis Whitcomb 
Francis was born in 1582 in London, England. Francis' father was William+ Whitcomb and his mother was Dorothy+ Taylor. His paternal grandparents were Thomas+ Whitcomb and Elizabeth+ Best. He had four brothers and three sisters, named John, Thomas, Edward, Peter, Margarita+, Susan and Martha. He was the third oldest of the eight children. He died at the age of 62 in 1644.General Notes
