Laurence was born on November 21st, 1602 in Sulgrave Manor, Northamptonshire, England. Laurence's father was Laurence Washington and his mother was Margaret Butler. His paternal grandfather was Robert V Washington; his maternal grandfather is William Butler and his maternal grandmother was Margaret Greeke. He was an only child.
