John was born in 1404 in Poynton, Cheshire, England. John's father was Laurence+ Warenne and his mother is Margery+ Bulkeley. His paternal grandfather is Nicholas De+ Warenne and his paternal grandmother was Agnes De+ Wynnington; his maternal grandparents were Richard+ Bulkeley and Margery+ Venables. He had two sisters named Elizabeth+ and Cicely. He was the oldest of the three children. He died at the age of 55 in 1459.General Notes
