Francois De La was born on July 5th, 1497 in Limeuil. Francois De La's father was Antoine De La Tour-Auvergne and his mother is Antoinette De Pons. His paternal grandparents were Annet IV De La Tour-Auvergne and Anne Rogier De Beaufort; his maternal grandfather was Guy De Pons and his maternal grandmother is Jeanne De Castelnau. He had a brother named Gilles De La. He was the older of the two children. He died at the age of 35 on July 12th, 1532 in Villocher.General Notes
